Pelvic Floor Health / Incontinence
Pelvic Floor Health Issues plauge millions of men and women. Due to the fact that people cannot see their pelvic floor, they often do not know that it has become weakened until other changes in their body and health appear. Your pelvic floor muscles are the layer of muscles that support your pelvic organs and span the bottom of your pelvis. The pelvic organs in women are the uterus, bowel, and bladder. In men, the pelvic organs are the bowel and the bladder. The pelvic floor, with abdominal and back muscles, offer support and stabalization to the spine.
Symptoms such as bloating, pelvic heaviness, bowel or urniary changes can be an indication of a more serious health issue and you should seek an appointment with your primary health care provider prior to other treatment.
