WHAT OUR PATIENTS ARE SAYING

John Miller
September 29, 2021.
Have been treated by two therapists (Becca and Brenna) for back muscle spasms. They are both very competent, excellent "bed side manner", professionalism and skill. Their therapy and advice is improving my quality of life. Would actively seek treatment from them again if/when necessary.

The shoulder is one of the most mobile joints in the body which allows the arm to move in many different positions. This requires many muscles to work together to move the arm effectively. The large available range of motion, complex sequencing of muscle coordination, and repetitive demands placed on the shoulder can make the shoulder prone to injury.

How Physical Therapy Can Help

Select Therapy’s team of experienced physical and occupational therapists are experts in treating many shoulder dysfunctions. Your therapist will begin by taking a detailed history of your shoulder problem. They will then perform a thorough examination of your shoulder including measuring range of motion, testing muscle strength, and performing special tests that can help to diagnose the underlying problem. Treatment will be personalized based on your symptoms and functional limitations.
